Privacy Policy

1. Overview

olcsub is a personal water intake tracking app for iOS designed to keep your hydration and wellness data entirely under your control. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

2. On-Device Data Storage

Hydration logs, daily water targets, custom cup sizes, streak information, statistics, reminder preferences, unit selections, and app settings are stored locally on your device using native local storage and SQLite.

olcsub does not require a user account, does not require login, does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions, and does not operate a remote database. olcsub does not automatically transmit hydration, wellness, or Smart Goal Calculator data to servers operated by us.

3. Smart Goal Calculator

The Smart Goal Calculator processes user-entered parameters—such as body weight, activity level, training duration, sweat or heat level, creatine use, and related lifestyle or fitness inputs—entirely locally on your device.

Calculator parameters are used exclusively for computing your suggested daily intake target in-memory on the device. Calculator inputs are not transmitted to servers operated by us or shared with any third party.

4. No Tracking or Advertising

olcsub does not include third-party advertising SDKs, analytics frameworks, or tracking technologies. The app does not request or collect the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or Identifier for Vendors (IDFV) for tracking purposes. We do not track users across apps or websites, and we do not sell, rent, or monetize personal data.

5. Notifications

If you enable reminders, olcsub requests permission to schedule local notifications. All reminder notifications are scheduled and generated locally on your device. The app does not use a remote push notification server for hydration reminders.

6. Backup Export and Import

olcsub allows you to export and import your app data as a JSON backup file. Backup export and import are initiated manually by the user.

olcsub does not automatically upload backups to servers operated by us. When exporting a backup, the app presents the standard iOS Share and Files interface. If you choose to save or send an exported backup to iCloud Drive, external storage, or a third-party service, that transfer is controlled entirely by you and your selected storage provider.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all application data is stored locally, you can remove stored intake history using the reset options available in the app settings. Deleting olcsub removes app data stored in the app's local container on that device, except for backup files the user may have separately exported.

8. Third Parties

olcsub does not send hydration, wellness, or Smart Goal Calculator data to advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or profiling services.
